Hairstyles for Asian Men

Here’s a list of styles hoping to inspire you for your next hair adventure. Asian hair is one of the trickiest type of hair to cut as it’s usually very thick, coarse, & stick-straight, but if you do a great job, it’s very rewarding to style with.

Fohawk

What’s great about this style for Asian hair is that because Asian hair usually sticks up on it’s own, you actually can get away with using less product as it naturally already stands up for you. There’s many variations with this style, you can alter the length on top and how short you want the fade to be on the sides & back. You can also disconnect the top so it looks more like a mohawk.

Undercut

Great style of Asian hair as it is short enough to not stick out until it grows. Because it’s a disconnected style, you don’t have to worry about blending because it’s meant to be a contrast hairstyle with the top being significantly longer. You can choose to style either to one side or slick straight back.

2-Block

Inspired by K-pop culture, but you can put a more masuline twist to it depending on your wardrobe. This is a great hairstyle as top is long enough that it lays down, this haircut usually pair with a perm which creates a super low maintenance hairstyle that you can just walk out of the shower without any effort.

Classic gentlemen

Short enough that it is practical, but not too short that it shows scalp. Part to one side so hair will stay out of your face.
